  1. I am currently working on three quilts that are wheelchair size for mine and my husband's grandmothers. I love Heather Ross, so thank you for the chance to win! :Ddestlair(at)yahoo(dot)com

  2. I love making quilts for people. Mostly because I love making quilts…but it's also nice to be creating someone with someone in mind! And omg omg omg I NEED that fabric! Growing up, we had an old VW Bus that we drove around and camped in and even when it was parked in the driveway we played in it! One time we drove it from Pennsylvania to South Carolina for vacation and it had some kind of malfunction and we had to haul it home via U-Haul! haha My dad recently bought another one to fix up since he missed it so much!

  3. Wow seriously ? That's some pretty awesome fabric !I love to make quilts or pillow covers. I would love to make homemade caramel this year !!

  4. I like to make wallets, or miniature-sized purses for little girls who want to be like mommy đŸ™‚ Oh, and ornaments, always a hit.

  5. My latest handmades have been softies and animal rattles. Designing your own stuffed animals is fun and a lot easier than what I expected. You can learn from dissecting an older stuffed animal or just by practicing and making adjustments. I ordered the rattle pattern so I can't take credit, but it was really fun and a gift newborns usually don't get handmade.

  6. I love making zipper bags, so I try to find every excuse to give them as gifts, lol. I try to personalize the fabric or the bag theme to the recipient – one of my favourite recent finishes is a Red Riding Hood bag set for my sister … *Grammie* đŸ˜€

  7. Oh my gosh – my dad drove a VW van when I was a kid. It had a sunroof that leaked, a heater that only worked in the summer time and random seat belt placement. I LOVE this fabric!Okay, my go to handmade gift is a bag. I'm working on a Weekender for my mom for Christmas (although she might have to wait until her birthday in April!).

  8. I try and find out what the recipient needs or wants, I hate taking my sewing time up making something for someone if they won't use it! Thanks for the give away!

  9. I like to make quilts but sometimes those take too long for a quick gift. Pillow cases are always a hit and take so little time to make. Thanks for the giveaway!!

  10. I love to make pouches for all the gadgets people have these days. I also like to make useful things around the kitchen…oven hand mitts and dishtowels that snap on so they don`t fall off the rack. đŸ™‚

  12. Love this fabric! I really love making Christmas tree skirts, although that is a big gift to give- so you better really love the person you're giving it too! Thanks for sharing.

  13. Thanks for the chance to win! I am a quilter and made quilts for my family for the holidays. I donated four charity quilts this year..

  14. I don't usually do handmade items either. I want to and love to but I always worry about how they'll be received so I get store bought so they can at least return it if they don't want it. I have given in the past though, quilts, purses, pouches, superhero capes for the kids and potholders.

  15. i am totally swooning here. that fabric is one i've been wanting and never thought i'd get!!!!!!!!and the bag pattern is awesome too, i've been looking for a bag that can carry larger projects with me.i like to make eye pillows filled with flaxseed (& organic essential oil) that have quilted slipcovers.also doing a lot of mini quilts, which i'll set up for hanging.thanks so so so so so so much for the chance to win!

  16. I make Made by Rae's Buttercup Bag, it only uses a fat quarter which is great. Mini quilts/mug rugs are also quick and good stash busters.

  17. I only make handmade gifts for very close friends and family, but my go-to items have been zipper pouches and aprons for small gifts and quilts for bigger gifts (usually only for the birth of a new baby, a wedding, anniversary, or a significant birthday). Thanks for the chance to win!!!

  18. Such a gorgeous print – you are very generous to give it away! I think small handmade items like oven mitts and hot pads make great gifts – not too difficult or expensive to make and they will actually get used.

  19. I don't do very many handmade gifts bcuz I'm not sure everyone appreciates the time and effort put into it. But with that being said for those time I do give handmade it's zipper pouches for special treasures, pillowcases for kids, and quilts for my family/good friends. For teacher/school gifts I usually make homemade caramel apples.
